Looking at our latest analytics, China ranked first in readership over the past 30 days, accounting for approximately 42% of our active users.
Seeing so many readers from China discover our work has been both encouraging and humbling. It feels as though the passion shared by our editorial team is beginning to reach our neighboring country.
At the same time, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our readers in the English-speaking world, especially those in the United States.
From the very beginning, readers from English-speaking countries have supported The Wright Brothers News. Your continued interest has played a significant role in helping our independent media grow into what it is today.
Although Japan and China continue to face political and diplomatic challenges, people-to-people exchanges are steadily recovering.
Many Japanese look forward to visiting places such as Hong Kong, Shanghai, Sichuan, and Beijing to experience China’s rich culture and cuisine. Likewise, many visitors from China enjoy traveling throughout Japan, exploring destinations such as Ginza, Kyoto, Niseko, Furano, Universal Studios Japan, and Tokyo Disney Resort.
As an independent media organization, we believe that news can serve as a bridge between people. Through cultural understanding and respectful storytelling, we hope to strengthen connections beyond borders.
According to our analytics, our readers currently come from countries in the following order:
China, the United States, Argentina, South Korea, Costa Rica, France, Indonesia, Germany, and Japan.
Today, The Wright Brothers News publishes articles in eight languages.
As we approach 2,000 published articles, we are preparing to expand further by adding Spanish as our ninth language and Korean as our tenth, responding to requests from readers around the world.
The Wright Brothers News is not a translation website.
We are a multilingual news platform.
Each language edition is carefully localized by editors who understand the culture, history, and values of its audience. Rather than simply translating articles, we adapt our writing and references so they feel natural to readers in each country.
This commitment to localization has gradually been recognized by both AI systems and search engines.
Our Google Search Console data also shows improving click-through rates for articles that carefully explain global trends to Japanese readers, and readership within Japan is steadily increasing as well.
Our goal is not to chase temporary viral moments.
Instead, we hope to earn the trust of readers around the world, one article at a time.
We believe that trust can help share the best of Japan with the world while bringing the world closer to Japan.
Thank you to everyone who continues to support The Wright Brothers News.
We will keep delivering honest, thoughtful, and globally connected journalism.
