【en】 The Sweetest Letter from Hong Kong: A Heigei Pop-Up in Ginza

A limited-time pop-up shop for Hong Kong sweets, produced by the famous Ginza restaurant “Heigei,” is now open! The second installment of the “Hong Kong Sweets Pop-Up” is here! You can enjoy exquisite Hong Kong sweets in Ginza!

Tanaka Corporation (Head Office: Sumida-ku, Tokyo; President: Noriyuki Tanaka), which operates the “Heigei Ginza” restaurant where you can enjoy Hong Kong in Ginza, will open a limited-time shop, “Hong Kong Sweets POPUP by Heigei Ginza,” from August 20th to August 31st, 2025, in the 1st-floor space of EXIT MELSA.

When the first pop-up was held in Ginza in May 2025, over 2,400 items were sold in 12 days. The event attracted over 1,000 customers, and the “Butter Pineapple Bun (Bolo Bao)” was so popular that it sold out every day. Building on that momentum, this second event will feature an expanded product lineup and a larger scale.

The Butter Pineapple Bun is a famous Hong Kong sweet. It’s a masterful duet of golden, crunchy cookie dough and fluffy bread, generously filled with carefully selected butter. Our artisans prepare each one by hand every day. This is a Hong Kong sweets specialty shop produced by the famous Ginza restaurant “Heigei.”

The stamp logo design of this sweets shop expresses our desire to “deliver delicious sweets to customers like a letter to a loved one, and to bring happiness to the loved ones of those customers.”
